What I love about New York…
…is that even if you’re as big a jerk as I am, there’s always at least one someone who’s an even bigger one.
Yes, at least he’s not driving while reading some lengthy thing (I checked and the screen was a full page of words like he was using Stanza) on his iPhone, along with the heavy muffler headphones, but as Jasper Beardly says; “Sidewalk’s for regular walkin’, not fancy walkin’!” and his forward motion was definitely halting and erratic.
He was also so successfully insulated from his surroundings, that I was able to keep pace just behind his left shoulder long enough to notice him, haul my camera out of my bag, catch eight shots of him, put my camera away, and pass him without him even taking note.
