After work is never after work…
Last night’s sky. Supposedly the work day is wrapping up and with it the work week, but that just isn’t the case these days: there’s always another report to be written, or meeting to be had. I don’t have a conventional job, and for that I’m glad: working in education gives me the leeway to do many things that my peers in other fields can’t. So this is just observation, not complaint: my job is making extra demands on my time.
I have been trying to get some reading done, and some drawing. It can be slow going. I feel that I need to get out and see more shows as well: all the notes I’ve seen people posting from Miami/Basel, are making me feel even more disconnected from the gallery world than usual. I need to poke my head around Chelsea again.
