The weather has cooled and it’s easier to be out and about – I saw some friends yesterday and took a a good long walk through Manhattan. So much so that my calves are smarting a but today. It’s the last leg of summer and I don’t want it to vanish without the having the feeling that I’ve caught up on things.
I’ve spent the last week fooling with the office iPad, which is a pretty dull device if you don’t have access to the iTunes account it’s linked to. I’m grateful for the experience because it cools my interest. I was never feeling all that ravenous for one anyway, given that it’s much more of a media consumption device than a media production one, but having one around has made me see how my little craving pangs are inconsequential.
The device I’m really craving is this one. I would be making so many ‘zines, yo. Not to mention the fact that It would make other aspects of my work process much easier.
