A couple of days in…
New Years Eve out of town was intimate and festive. I returned to a house with no landline phone service, and thus no wifi. I tried to head out to a cafe for some such, but the bitter cold sent me scrambling back for soup and bed and books and episodes of The Prisoner on blueray, which left me in an oddly unbalanced and paranoid mood this morning, when I had to come into the office for a planning meeting.
There’s a lot to be thought about, and taken care of, and alread this year is shaping up to look quite different in a couple of ways. I’m just about a month away from my 50th birthday, and AstroBarry says this is going to be a tumultuous year for us all. Certainly 09 has seemed like one of gathering clouds and clashing ideas.
I was sorry to miss Dan’s funeral, and I’m hoping that our friends here can arrange another rememberance.
