I’ll admit it – this site might be entertaining to look at but it’s definitely a mess if you want to find specific information and you aren’t me. Even if you are me, it’s a struggle. I’ve got stuff spread out over various places online, half-abandoned projects, like my complete work archive, that are butting up against barely captioned photos and casual blogging. So: time to tidy.

Sixteen years ago I wrote a one page guide to writing artists’ statements, and posted it online. It’s circulated in various places, but never had a real home until today. You can find it here. I haven’t revised it since then, mainly because it think it still holds up. Hope you find it useful.
